Crescom-Docple, MOU for digital innovation in AI-based medical diagnosis

Combined AI bone age analysis software’MediAI-BA’ and hospital management platform

Crescom (CEO Jae-Joon Lee), an artificial intelligence (AI) medical image automatic analysis solution company, and Docple (CEO Seong-Hyun Kim), a leading domestic doctor community platform, signed a business agreement on the 21st for digital medical innovation.

Crescom, a venture start-up that develops an automatic AI medical image analysis solution, launched ‘MediAI-BA’, an AI bone age analysis software that supplemented the limitations of the existing bone age analysis methods TW3 and GP, and applied only the advantages. This software, which obtained approval for medical devices from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in March of this year, can obtain growth analysis results in less than 5 seconds while analyzing not only the whole image but also the detailed parts in more detail.
Docple is a community space that has been representing the rights and interests of doctors for 20 years. In the beginning of this year, Docple platform provides Rx+, a preliminary inspection solution for insurance examination claims, conveniently based on the web. With this agreement, Docple plans to expand it to a platform that connects various digital-based technologies necessary for hospital management, including artificial intelligence solutions.
Lee Jae-Joon, CEO of Crescom, said, “MediAI-BA is a useful medical artificial intelligence solution that helps doctors without restrictions on the size of regional and medical institutions, as it can be used through web access.
Seong-Hyun Kim, CEO of Docple, said, “Although primary and secondary medical institutions play a very important role in the domestic medical delivery system, there are many difficulties in introducing digital technology. Through this, we will improve the service competitiveness of primary and secondary medical institutions.”
Meanwhile, in commemoration of the signing of the MOU, the two companies are carrying out substantial promotions such as providing free MediAI-BA and subscription benefits to doctors who are Docple members.
